Our hosts were very nice people. They helped us to secure transport for a temple tour with a very nice and helpful tuktuk man. Our host also took us to the night markets on his tuktuk for free as well as to the bus station on departure. Our room was nice and comfortable with no issues.

We stayed for three days in this little paradise. Lovely room in a lovely garden with lovely people. They speak quite good English and are very willing to help with anything. Every day after sightseeing we were glad to get back "home" and have a beer on our balcony overlooking the garden and listering to the birds in the jungle next to us. Comfortable beds, good working showers, aircom. They even made breakfast en cooked dinner for us, (although that's not in the deal!) and took us to the station. A lovely place for peace, quiet and beauty.

Cody place just off the main road of Kanchanaburi. 2 mins walk from night market - host allowed to bring food at the guesthouse and could comfortably eat there in the two nice outside tables. coffee, tea and water available all day long. Golden Sword with a Boat is as quirky and unique as its name is unusual. The spacious, spotless room was on the top floor of a large two-floor building in a nicely kept garden setting. In the same compound there is a temple-like structure and apparently the owner is a monk who practiced in Taiwan for a long time. The staff is welcoming and helpful. A unique perk is the charming floating tea room restaurant located down some steps and a path on the river, serving delicious teas and Taiwanese meals. The staff even let us have our breakfast there the next morning. My son and I liked the huge metal dragon sculpture at the front gate!

great location near the main market and lots of shops, comfortable room and lovely hosts always provided water and got up extra early so we didn’t miss our train back

This was a great find, as was the delightful Jim, the owner. She was super helpful, spoke great English, made delicious homemade breakfasts - she was a great host. The pool was a treat too, particularly in the 40 degrees April heat! She was very helpful organising taxis, making sure fair prices paid etc. also - 3 lovely cats and a puppy on the property too!

We had a wonderful time in Kanchanaburi thanks to our lovely hosts. The garden is stunningly beautiful and so are the rooms, including the bathroom. It was spacious, well located and we basically didn’t have to do anything because she organised the most wonderful tours for us that we could possibly have imagined.
