The stay here was short, but long enough to feel the care the owners and staff have towards the place and people. Everyone is always kind, smiley and ready to help! The place is super clean, quiet and very well connected to all the facilities you need. Plus, they offer a bike and bicycle rent service. You had your own private space and bathroom and outside areas to relax in too. The property had a locked gate and CCTV camera out front which made it feel safe. The room was clean and towels, dental kits, shower caps/ gels/ shampoo / conditioner were provided as well as a hair dryer.

We loved the beautiful colourful gardens and the accommodation was perfect for our family. Comfortable, clean and spacious. Best of all though we loved the hospitality from Yves and Daeng. Nothing was too much for them. We enjoyed all of the places Yves showed us including a tour of the local market on his motorbike and the amazing temples and caves in the jungle nearby. Thank you it was a wonderful experience.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about my stay and the hosts. This ended up being my best experience in Thailand - which is funny, because it was also my most affordable one. From the very beginning, the staff were attentive and took care of every single request I had. They handled my laundry quickly and at a very fair price, and kept my room clean throughout my entire stay. Any time I had a question about the city, whether it was where to get clothing repaired, find a pedicure spa, or just where to eat, they always gave me great recommendations. I enjoyed the experience so much that I even extended my stay and stayed twice as long as I originally planned. I’ll absolutely come back if I’m ever in the area again!

Golden Sword with a Boat is as quirky and unique as its name is unusual. The spacious, spotless room was on the top floor of a large two-floor building in a nicely kept garden setting. In the same compound there is a temple-like structure and apparently the owner is a monk who practiced in Taiwan for a long time. The staff is welcoming and helpful. A unique perk is the charming floating tea room restaurant located down some steps and a path on the river, serving delicious teas and Taiwanese meals. The staff even let us have our breakfast there the next morning. My son and I liked the huge metal dragon sculpture at the front gate!
