I am so glad I found this homestay in Ao leuk whilst looking for somewhere off the beaten track. It was comfortable and had everything you need for a bit of home comfort. What made the difference was you will feel like part of the family and for me, I liked that I was supporting a family and extended family too with Becky acting as translator and organiser. After leaving Krabi in a taxi, I found myself at bamboo kingdom after the taxi driver couldn’t find the home stay. I think this was more to do with wanting to get back to Krabi. Luckily, I met Molly who was also lovely and welcoming and rang Becky at the homestay who came and picked me up. I would recommend and definitely stay again. There are excursions you can join or you can do your own thing. Thanks for sorting my bus out to get to Surat and your uncle for driving me to the bus stop. Thanks Becky and family.

This gorgeous homestay was one of the best I have stayed at. Firstly, I was picked up from the bus station by the guest house owners. It is quite a distance from anything but they kindly stopped at the market for me to stock up. Actually, there was no reason to get extras as everything that I needed was there. I was brought a delicious breakfast in the morning which was included and was served delicious home cooked meals at dinner. The room was extra spacious, clean with a fabulous bathroom as well as your own deck overlooking the beautiful river. It was so peaceful. The hostel went the extra mile, checking in to see if there was anything I needed. I left something at the homestay when I left and they were willing to assist me by posting it. Whoever stays here will love it. A perfect retreat. Thank you for your wonderful guesthouse and service.

100% recommended We felt very comfortable in Chai's house. Our room was bright and clean. The town is authentic, not too small and not to big. But the best was definitely the trip in the Phang-Nga Bay that our lovely host organized for us. We had a longtailboat just for us, saw the sunrise in the bay, were at Bond Island before all the other tourists (lots of full boats arrived when we left the island), went to see the nice fishermans village on Panyee Island, we did a kajak tour, went through caves and mangroves. It is a special route, very private and we couldn't find something like this anywhere else, especially for the good price (about the same like from Phuket, but on full tourist boat). So thankful that we found Chai and could make this beautiful experience!

I loved this property, the view is breathtaking and there are horses in front of the rooms. The family managing it is lovely.
