I wanted a place close to Slovensky Rai for hiking and this place was well located for that (about 5 mins by vehicle to the Cingov parking area). I also liked the fact they had a restaurant which offered decent and reasonably priced food. Breakfast was also included in the price, which made Penzion Stefani great value for money.

Hrabusice is the best base for a visit to Slovensky Raj and exploring the Spis region. Some hiking trails (Hornad canyon, Sucha Bela) are walking distance from the village, for the rest you would need a car as public transport is limited outside summer holidays. Due to some mix up with the booking Peter (the host) arranged for us to stay in an apartment in another part of the village. It was an upgrade as we had a whole very comfy apartment with kitchen to ourselves. Communication with Peter was fast and reliable and the proposed solution more than satisfactory! Tip for visitors: since April 2024 local tourist tax (2 euros per person per night) allows free entry to paid sites in Slovensky Raj and includes insurance for mountain rescue costs.

Very nice house with privet rooms (privet shower and toilet) and shared kitchen (2 kitchens). Everything you need for your stay is there, even games for children! We had a lovely porch with small table and chairs with exit from our room. The house located close to the famous Sucha Bela hiking trail and many cycling trails, right in the heart of Slovensky raj. Free privet parking is on site and good wifi. We had a wonderful time at this house!
