After a long day's drive what a welcome relief to pull into the garage. The hotel sits high above the bay with beautiful views of the water. We were offered a welcome glass of the local wine (I forget the name but is delicious) and given a tour of the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We decided to eat dinner there since the weather wasn't nice and we were tired and that was a great decision. We had pork and soup which was outstanding; they made us feel like we were the only ones there. If you're looking for a little out of the way but close to Lisbon stay here.

Neat and clean house with comfortable beds and bedding. A very well equipped living/kitchen area available for all guests. More than basics supplied in kitchen- coffee , tee , milk biscuits, croissant, jam and butter, breakfast cereal. Washing machine and ample washing line space in a nice courtyard that also serves as an outside eating area. It is a small village, so everything is within walking distance. One of the most helpful host/owners you will ever meet.

I have nothing but admiration for this place. From its remote setting to the beautiful grounds, rooms, and common areas - everything was stunning. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms, especially the studio we stayed in, were impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The presence of many animals on the property added to the delight, and we could hear the ocean as it's only a 10-minute walk away. Perfection.

Such a thoughtful host. Could not have done more to make us feel welcome. A small walk to town but a lovely stop when walking the fisherman's trail. Pool was A bonus.

The location was good. It wasn't as noisy as I thought it would be on the high street. It had soap and shower gel packets in the toilet.

Três Marias is located in the serene countryside of the Northern Alentejo, just 4 km from Aivados Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Mules , 3 ostriches and 3 donkeys are permanent residents at the hotel.

Very calm and aesthetic place. Perfect for a couple looking to relax on the Portuguese countryside. Also the place is not far from very nice beaches by car. So it’s a good spot to explore the region and the coast. The property is well designed and maintained. The rooms provide a lot of privacy and calm, and are well isolated from the surroundings. The was no AC but the lodges are well isolated and the temperatures dropped quickly by night in this region so it was ok. Special mention to the restaurant of the hotel: they offer diners only but the food is excellent. The Chef relies on locally grown products to compose very creative and tasty menus. The service is very professional and discret.
