Our stay at Quintal De Alem Do Ribeiro in Lousã was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the friendly hosts made us feel warmly welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. The location of the property was breathtaking, surrounded by cultivated land, trees, and the serene Ceira River. The rustic yet modern character of the charming house added to its unique appeal. Each thematic room was tastefully decorated with traditional furniture and artifacts, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the well-maintained outdoor pool, which provided a spacious and tranquil space to soak up the Portuguese sun and enjoy a refreshing swim.

Our hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. Dinner was an exceptional home cooked meal and ingredients were provided for us to put together for an early breakfast.

This property is so nice, such a lovely building and well refurbished. The furniture is stylish, the room is modern, clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Coimbra. It is also very well located, close to the university and a short ride to the train station.

We arrived a little earlier and the hotel personal was kind enough to keep our baggage, so we could start exploring this beautiful town. We booked the room for three people, but Catherine was so kind that she offered us a room with more privacy (a big big thank for that!) and provided a wonderful welcoming.
