Wonderful farm stay away from city noise. Crisp clean air and fantastic atmosphere. Joaquim was a super host and made me feel completely at home. A great place to stay for a few days and use as a central hub to local attractions.

Our stay was exceptional , from the moment we were welcomed by our host Duarte to the elegant breakfast in the dining room . We had planned to tour Elvas but instead we enjoyed basking in the history and grander of this boutique hotel. We fixed our own gun and tonics with herbs ( 6 different gins to choose from!) from the honor bar and whiled away 2 hours looking at books and magazines from their collection.Later we shared a bottle of wine with cheese outdoors by the pool. The bed was very comfortable with lush down pillows .. a perfect evening .

The property is immaculate and, on the whole, beautifully maintained. It is the home of Marco and Susanne and could easily feature in a home design magazine. The roof terrace is really comfortable and great to be able to dip in and out of the plunge pool while enjoying and beer or glass of wine and the panoramic view across Portugal and Spain. Everything in the house is perfectly finished from the upcycled furniture to the beautifully painted walls and ceilings.
