The room with private bathroom is part of a larger apartment and is separated from the rest of the apartment by a special door. The kitchen is shared. The apartment is on the ground floor of a newer building, spacious, furnished in a modern way and at the same time with a sense of preserving the island's heritage. And a balcony and a courtyard! Wow, a real tropical park in miniature, the owner Louis takes care of it himself and is very proud of it. Louis is friendly and helps every day with some good advice about the weather or which natural beauty to visit ... He is very knowledgeable. When we arrived, he arranged a transfer from the airport for us and connected us with a local rent a car that delivered the car to our location. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. At night, there is always some free parking available on the street, even the blue zone is not expensive. Opposite the apartment there is a bakery, pizzeria, a little further a grocery store, fruit shop, pharmacy, pastry shop, barbecue... My wife and I were very satisfied with the hospitality and service and we recommend this apartment to all couples visiting Madeira on their own.

The property is located in a quiet area and looks amazing. The host was super nice and helped us with our check-in. The property also has a living room which is a excellent place to work/study in. Our room itself was also very good. And there is plenty of space to park next to the property which was also a nice surprise for Madeira :)

Perfect location, easy transition to everywhere in the island, easy parking a car on the surroundings streets. Clean, big, comfortable and sufficiently eqiupped appartment. Wonderful view from the terrace - perfect for morning coffee/tea time or evening drinks. Near to the Restaurant Pilar with very tasty food which can be bought by weight and taken away for good price.
