Our stay was perfect! We have stayed one night at Savta Homestay before going 2 nights to Batad. The terrasse is nice, the place is cosy and the shared bathroom is very clean and big. The owner, Elma, is adorable and did everything so we felt at home. Breakfast is good, delicious pancakes! There is a restaurant 'BroZone' which is very nice and good just in front of the place. We could let our bagpacks at her place when we went trekking for 2 days and we could chill on the terrasse before taking the night bus to Manila. Possible, Via Elma, to organize trekking trips or daily visits at very low price compared to other companies. We highly recommend this place.

We had a nice welcoming stay at Frix during our bird watching visit to Mt Polis, Banaue and the rice terraces. We visited a few weeks after the typhoon and the community was very devastated by the impacts, as such Frix did not have power however they had a generator running in the morning and evening with wifi, gave us hot water to bathe and for coffee, an emergency light, extra blanket, and still served us a nice dinner one night which was better than the more expensive dinner we got in town! The family really did all they could to make our stay pleasant, we would stay here again and found the location ideal for accessing good bird watching areas. Also the parking was secure off the road which was a big plus and it was very quiet at night to sleep. Thank you Frix!

It's a simple room, but you have everything you need, it's clean and the view of the rice fields is just great! You can hear the sound of the river and the chirping of the birds, it's very relaxing. The food is very cheap, delicious and available directly at the accommodation, which is fantastic! We also had Denwill as a guide for tours through Banaue (rice terraces, waterfalls, museum etc.) He showed us everything in a very motivated way, was helpful, introduced us to locals, took us to a market and went out for a meal. Such a wonderful experience! We can only recommend it here ☺️

Everything was fine, we want to thank the owner of the house and her family, everyone is so nice and wants you to have a nice stay. The room is clean and comfortable, the meals are prepared on demand and were good. We could let our bags while we were hiking the last day and pick them up later. We liked the fact that you somehow live with the family, it is really appreciable (+ nice view from the room and from the rooftop). The village is apart from the circulation and without any motors, really appreciate.

Staying here was an amazing experience. Tani picked us up from the bus stop and he and his family are super friendly. We did a guided trek with Tani which was really fun, Tani knows a lot and loves to talk. He was also super helpful with organising our transport back to Manila, would definitely stay here again.
