had a great stay at tamanu Lodge. everything was very clean and modern. kitchen very well equipped and there is even a whirlpool. amd the owner was very friendly and heartwarming. there is a supermarket and a bakery just across the street and the public bus goes there too. definitely recommend it!

Michel & Veronique were very welcoming hosts, friendly and helpful. Loved the pool and beautiful surroundings. Great shower and comfortable bed. Great central location if exploring to both the north and south of the west coast of the island. Shopping centre within walking distance. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Perfect self contained accommodation. You'll want transport but a great location outside the traffic hassle of Papeete. Shops a minute drive away. 4kms to Carrefours & McDonalds. A great beach 4km the other way. Close enough to airport and capital with transport. Wifi perfect. Ted a great host and very responsive via WhatsApp. Highly recommend.

Owners are supernice and helpful! They answer your emails quickly, organize island tours and transport, give you advice for hiking and shopping... The house with all rooms, terrace and garden is cosy and spacious, the outdoor kitchen is well equipped. Everything very clean. You get snorkelling masks, fins and a bicycle for free. The breakfast with fruits is delicious. They even kept it for me once in the fridge, when I went hiking very early... The beach is close, if you take the bike or car. Beautiful sunsets, calm water for swimming. Can highly recommend it. Will come back. Thanks!

Stephane and Maeva are very welcoming hosts, the room is clean and spacious. Hot water, garden, delicious breakfast with home-made products. Stephane didn’t hesitate to take us to the airport himself after our appointed taxi driver has forgotten us. Definitely recommended!

Nina is a great host, she came and picked us and 3 surfboards up at the Faa'a airport even late at night after our flight was delayed. The free pick up is a huge plus after such a long flight from Europe. Dealing with taxi surfboards and direction to the house so late at night with no local currency would have been very painful. Great dream location very close to the airport and really quite, beautiful tropical garden. The bedroom is huge, AC, with a king++ bed and a one person bed, self coffee and tea machine (coffee, tea and biscuits provided by host, it s a plus when jetlaged and awake in the middle of the night with nothing to do ) private modern and huge bathroom with Italian shower. The house of the host has been renovated in a classic island style and breakfast on the swimming pool terrasse is a must do. I was travelling with my 2 adults sons the room was perfect for a short stay. Sharing the huge double king++ bed was not a problem. This place would also be a great location for a couple to stay for a longer time because it is quiet, central and no other guest so you feel privileged !! The room is also in a part of the house where you don't meet the host when going to the bathroom, it makes the feeling being in a private place really enjoyable.

Very nice, clean and cozy property with incredible view! Car is recommended, the accommodation is on the hill (approximately 5 min by car from city center). The owner is very nice, we needed to clean our rental car and she gave us all things for cleaning. There are 2 lovely cats and house has a private parking space. Kitchen is equipped with all you might need and on top of that the owner prepared for us beer, lemonade and cookies what was a very nice welcome. Highly recommended:)

Me and me baby only stayed half a night between two airplanes. We got picked up and dropped off from and to the airport for only 1500 xpf per transfer ( 5 minutes away ) Eva was really lovely and very accomodating, she stopped at the shops so I can get things for our early 2am start, and made us feel right at home.
