Lovely people working here, even though Liz was not at the guest house at the time, she made sure that everything we wanted and needed was taken care of. Breakfast was wonderful, the room was nice and the location was great too. At our request, Liz also arranged a private driver for us to/from Cusco (at a fair price). Overall a great experience!

Very good location on main square. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There is nice roof terase where you can take great breakfast. Staff is very helpful. Food in restaurant is delicious.

I stayed two nights at El Chasqui and it was a great find. Its a walk up the hill from the train station and easily found on the corner of the main street. Check in was easy, English was spoken and staff were friendly. The room was facing the inside courtyard, the bed was comfy, everything spotlessly clean and at night very quiet. The location is central for everything, restaurants and shop are all around and the Ollantaytambo Sanctuary is opposite. I was catching an early train to Machu Picchu so the hotel provided a complimentary packed lunch for me. Breakfast is provided in the coffee shop next door (2 fried eggs + bread, coffee and juice). I would definitely recommend El Chasqui to anyone visiting Ollantaytambo, you won't be disappointed.

Location was perfect - right off the main square. The town is small so it's easy to see it on all foot from the hotel. The room had all the essentials. A little table, tv (didn't use it), simple bathroom, and plenty of sheets/blankets for the chillier nights (the room had no heating). The hotel also had a nice rooftop terrace to soak up some extra sun in any downtime you had. The breakfast we opted to include had the basics - eggs, fruit, bread, coffee and tea, etc. The staff were all an absolute delight. They were very kind and helpful with check-in, breakfast service, and any other inquiries that popped up during our stay. They even gave us little Peru keychain keepsakes at checkout for us to remember the experience by. Would definitely stay there again.
