I absolutely loved this place for several reasons. First of all, I was extremely well welcomed by Santhosh, who is incredibly friendly and genuinely kind. He is always available if you have any questions, and you can really feel that he is there for the guests. The property is very clean and well maintained. My room and bathroom were spotless. The value for money is unbeatable. In addition, the location is excellent (about a 7-minute drive from Wadi Shab), and there is a parking area where you can park safely. If you want to cook or make yourself a coffee, the property also provides a kitchen that guests can use. The place also has a children's play area and a nice swimming pool. I highly recommend this place.

We arrived at the beach house and even though it was open no one was there to get us checked in. After a few phone calls I got through to the owner Sami who apologised and sent his worker straight away, I hadn't rang them beforehand and the worker explained that guests usually arrive around 5ish and we got there at 1, so not really a problem!! The property itself is awesome, with comfortable beds and access to a small pool which my kids loved. There is no access to the beach from the property but you have the full view of the sea from the pool and there is a children's park walking distance away. We stayed only one night as we were visiting Wadi Shab and this was our resting point and for the purpose it was just perfect. Sami rang again once we were settled to ask if everything was ok and his worker also left his number with us in case we needed anything!! Full access to the kitchen is provided which has a gas cooker, pots and pans, basic utensils, a kettle, and a coffee machine with plenty of tea, coffee, and sugar. There is no staff at this property all the time, we enjoyed the privacy!! I left my iWatch at the property and didn't realise until I was back in Muscat, I rang the worker who confirmed the watch was there and then Sami rang me and told me he would drop the watch off to me. True to his word, Sami drove all the way to Muscat and dropped the watch off to me at the hotel U was staying at, legendary guy!! Thank you Sami and thank you to your staff - will definitely be visiting again!!

I recommend this place to everyone and would love to go back again. The guest house is located in the beautiful quiet town of Qalhat. It is a lazy seaside village. It is inspiring to see the owner involved in the day-to-day operations with his personal touch and he says it is not a guest house; it is our own house. I found that beautiful in spirit and in actions. The guest house has an open kitchen with all supplies (Eggs, butter, jam, bread, khaboos, oil for cooking, spices etc) provided. Guest can make their own food. It is wonderful. I must mention Khan and Tauhid. The man Fridays. Very generous, very helpful and willing to shoulder additional responsibilities smiling. Imagine on an international trip, we could make a BBQ. Thanks, to Tauhid and Khan for the Coal and the BBQ Stand. In our Overall Oman trip, this Guest House was the most memorable and we are missing the ginger kitten from the guest house.

We booked last minute and the host was so helpful and wonderful, what a lovely guy. The accommodation is beautiful with views out across the sea. It was clean, large rooms, swimming pool and you walk straight out the gate onto the beach for a swim, there are turtles out there too! Two minute drive to Wadi Shab so you can start the walk early and get in there while it's cool and there aren't many people. Wadi Shab is a bit muddy after the floods but easily doable and beautiful.
