We’re from Singapore and heard about Chrisenbel Hideaway Retreat through our friends. After experiencing it ourselves, we can definitely see why this place is becoming so popular! Despite being in the heart of Petaling Jaya, it offers such a peaceful and relaxing environment that makes you feel like you’re on a tropical getaway. The owner, Laura, is incredibly welcoming, and Anwar is always around to help. The facilities are clean, the pool is perfect for unwinding, and the overall vibe is calming. We can’t wait to come back!

1. Hospitality This accommodation is a so-called homestay: the owner provides their rooms for guest. They welcomed me warmly although I arrived at midnight due to a flight delay, and then treated me like a part of their family. 2. Spacious, comfortable and clean room Guests remove shoes before entering. This style is relaxing and keeps cleanness. The room has a large desk(enough for business), a sofa, and a private bathroom with a powerful hot shower. Facilities were not super-modern like those in 5-star hotels, but well-maintained and had no issues. Free drinking water (re-filling is also free) was really nice. 3. Location It is located in a quiet residential area in the suburbs, so can be recommended for those who do not prefer noisy touristic areas. The location is suburban, but convenient: within a 10-minute-walk from the nearest train station(around 15 minutes from Central Station), a small shopping mall is also just a 5-minute-walk away surrounded by various local restaurants and cafes, so I had no troubles in finding food even during Ramadan. A night market is also held there once a week.

It was a wonderful stay. Miss. Geo was very helpful with the check -in and check out process. It is very convenient and is very close to MRT Surian. It was clean, quiet and had all the necessary facilities! As i was travelling with my family, Miss. Geo also allocated the corner rooms so we get that area to ourselves. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Well it's not my first time stay at grayhaus...always gives best facilities...we can see many guesthouse but this one really really best ever for me...the surroundings also so quite and calm relaxing too...last time I were at ground floor room but this time I get 1st floor room...interior perfect everything was good...ill rate 5 🌟 for this..will come back againnnn....

Everything as it was cutely striking, warm and cozy. I originally booked a bed in female dormitory but got a free room upgrade from the host, which I'm truly thankful for. Check in was straightforward you just need to upload your IC and booking details to the host via WhatsApp. The spaces are very neat and well ventilated, from the common spaces until my room. Food pantry, laundry token, toiletries can be purchased accordingly. Cute fridge magnets and keychains was also sold. They also offered transportation services to airport and few more areas. One unique point that stands out is also that they have a dedicated medicine box labelled for common diseases such as flu, stomachache etc. Public transportation accessibility wise, it's better to use grab or any e-hailing to go anywhere. I truly enjoyed my stay from A to Z. Whenever I'm staying around PJ, I'll definitely stay here.

The owner did everything and more to make my stay incredibly pleasant. She upgraded my room at no cost due to it being not occupied when I was there and the room was very spacious and comfortable. With a nice big bed, a kettle, cookies and coffee packs plus always fresh bottled water. Also has international plugs which was super convenient as I didn't have my own from Australia so managed to charge my laptop and whatever I needed without worries. It was such an amazing and unexpected surprise. The place was being cleaned constantly including all the floor around the place and fresh towels handed daily. Shower and toilet also always clean and well maintained. There is a washer available for free so you can wash your clothes. She even gladly dropped me off at the train station one day which was so very kind and generous. There s a few restaurants and cafes around and a short taxi drive to get to the centre and a train ride to Batu Caves. Highly recommend this lovely place to stay. Thank you so much for making my stay so pleasant and all is appreciated.
