This place is a gem. It feels like visiting family. In front of every room is table and chairs, here you meet all the other guests, the rest of the “family” . We met so many nice people- and the owner was SO helpful. The vegetable garden is lovely- and grandfather gave us tomatoes. I was sick when we arrived, and the owner was so nice and offered to take me to the doctor. The room is nice, the water pressure is ok and the hot water is hot. The beds are good. Its easy to go to several restaurants on foot. The owner speaks very good English. I highly recommend to visit this place.

We spent three nights at Heatithude and very much enjoyed it. It is in a small, authentic town half an hour drive from Tanah Rata. Host Dennis is very helpful (he took us in his own car to the scooter rental company on our first day), room is clean and has a nicely decorated attached bathroom and the terrace on the small river at the back of the house is very nice to sit and drink a cup of coffee from the shared kitchen. We recommend this place!

The whole apartment is very beautiful. Hot water is available at every tap, including the kitchen sink. The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction cooker, pots, a steamboat pot, utensils, plates, and a refrigerator. The balcony overlooks the garden behind the apartment, offering great privacy—no one can see you when you're sitting outside. It's located on the first floor, so you need to go up one flight of stairs, which is acceptable for most people, but not suitable for those using a wheelchair.
