I chose to book here because of the high rating on booking, and after my stay, I totally understand why it's so high. The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional! And because there aren't that many rooms in total, you really get special treatment. Arrival and departure were perfectly organized. The food was delicious, and the room was exactly like in pictures. The bed was comfortable. Also, this island is very beautiful and I definitely suggest staying here.

We received a very friendly welcome, the room was sufficiently large and clean. We had the opportunity to choose both the place where we would like to eat and the type of breakfast. You can also buy lunch and dinner at the hotel. The hotel is located in the center of the island on the border between bikini and non-bikini beaches. If you want some of the activities, you can contact the hostess Nilanka for everything, who will take care of everything to make your holiday ideal

Our vacation was wonderful and we enjoyed it very much. The accommodation was excellent – the rooms were clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were hoping for. Every morning we enjoyed delicious breakfasts that were always fresh. We would like to especially appreciate the helpfulness of the staff. They were extremely kind, supportive, and willing to help with anything. They even assisted us with organizing our trip and excursions on the island, which made our holiday even more enjoyable. We definitely recommend this place and would be happy to return in the future.

Exceptional staff, always with a smile and trying to help you with whatever you need, from changing a room for a better one for the same rate (initially we got a room under the kitchen and it was very loud while food prep that starts at 6 am), or cracking coconuts we found on the island. Location of the hotel is perfect, just at the edge of the jungles and bikini beach. Room was spacious with super comfy bed (no soaps in the bathroom though, bring your own) Food: breakfast with a limited choice, buts thats expected on a local island at 3* hotel. Dinner a la carte very tasty, big portions, fruit juices are to die for! Waiters are very pleasant and welcoming, some 5* hotels in Europe should take some training from them :) Island: had beautiful, long beaches with amazing sand bank in the end of the island. Water from laguna side is getting deep quite quickly, there are places with dead and alive corals, as well as places with sand only where you do not have to be worried about hitting the corals in case of waves. The only negative part- quite a lot of trash in the jungles. It is sad because otherwise jungles are amazing, with lots of crabs, flying foxes and coconut trees-plenty of things to discover! Excursions: definitely go for the whole day trip that includes snorkeling with whale sharks and manta rays- the area is the best for it, we were super lucky to see them all while not having a soup out of 20 boats chasing 1 shark :) we were first everywhere and were leaving when other boats were just coming. The crew was also exceptional, very kind and professional. We also tried fishing in traditional way- super cool, they cook the fish for you afterwards, so it is a very good deal when you can taste super fresh sea fish basically for free. We thank the hotel and their staff for making our stay truly a once in a lifetime experience!

We had the pleasure of spending two unforgettable weeks at RAAKANI this wonderful hotel, and we truly couldn’t have asked for more. From the very beginning, we felt welcome and completely taken care of. The entire staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and always helpful – you can really feel the genuine warmth and dedication in everything they do. Our room was absolutely perfect: spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and it came with its own private garden, which was simply stunning – the ideal place to relax and unwind. We felt right at home! One of the most touching moments was the thoughtful surprise arranged for our anniversary – such a sweet gesture that made us feel truly special and showed how much attention is paid to the little things. And the Tours we booked through the hotel were breathtaking – each one well-organized, full of unforgettable sights, and a true highlight of our stay. All in all, we were completely spoiled, felt incredibly comfortable, and enjoyed every single moment. It was a magical experience we will never forget. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team – we’ll definitely be back!

One of the best hotels we've ever visited. The interior is even more beautiful than in the photos, everything is really clean. The hotel is perfectly equipped for those returning from the beach; everything has been very well thought out. :) Because the hotel only has a few rooms, we had a lot of privacy and almost didn't see other guests. Breakfast was very private, as it was served just for us. The man who hosted us was definitely the best! He was very helpful and was there for us 24/7. He arranged transportation for us and all the attractions we wanted. We didn't have to worry about a thing. The man knew our schedule thoroughly and even provided free transportation for planned activites. Upon arrival in Dhigurah, we were picked up from the port and welcomed with chilled towels and fresh juice. I highly recommend it!

we stayed here for the last 2 days of our trip for some luxury and it didn't disappoint, but it did make us wish we stayed here earlier!! rooms are stunning, and definitely abit of luxury on the island and felt super romantic. bed was comfortable, they had a tv with netflix, nice shower. A big thank you for Maahil, he went above and beyond to make it a lovely stay for us, from the coconuts on arrival! (the best one i've ever had), to showing us the water bowl outside the room to take off the sand from our shoes, lots of little things that were very thoughtful and made us feel looked after. They also organised an amazing show and tell session about the history of the island and coconuts tasting session, it was very special and we loved it. we got to enjoy some relaxing few days on the island, going to the bikini beach which was basically secluded, just for us in the spot we stayed in and we enjoyed snorkelling around the reef looking for fish and turtles. we already did many excursions in our previous hotel but this hotel also does lots of excursions and we actually saw Maahil on some of them earlier during the week so we could of stayed at the hotel and attended the same excursions which is what i would do next time! we hope to come back and we would 100% stay here again and couldn't recommend it more!
