Breakfast was adequate. The standard of accommodation was of high quality and very clean. The location was very peaceful and quiet. It would have been excellent if closer to the sea. The reception by the owners on site was exceptional and friendly. Very helpful in organising trip to Ile aux cerfs. Would use it again.

This lovely villa is centrally located within the village of Poste de Flack, not far from the Indian Ocean (4-5 minutes by car). Shops and dining places in the village are within walking distance. The most beautiful beaches on the island - Belle Mare Public Beach and Palmar Public Beach - are within easy reach by car in 5-10 minutes. The location of the villa itself is suitable for touring the whole island, no need to book accommodation elsewhere. The apartment is clean, comfortable; it also has a fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms and balcony are above average in size, and the terrace has a wonderful view of the fantastic garden in bloom and colour. Most importantly, Jay, the host, makes your stay at Shanti Nivas Villa unforgettable with his kindness, absolute attentiveness, helpfulness and knowledge of Mauritius. Through him, you will gain an insight into the local customs, flora and fauna. In the mornings, she prepares her own juices from the delicious freshly squeezed local fruit, from her own garden and fresh, juicy fruit from the local market. During our stay there, he was at our disposal every minute of the day, this is accommodation we can recommend to anyone as a seasoned traveller. Lovely fishing village. Apartment is nicely made for a couple with no kids. All facilities available, very convenient. You can use their washing machine for free. There’s a bbq. All staff are friendly and came to clean the apartment every day. As you open your curtains, you have the sea right in front of you.
