We completely enjoyed our stay at blue Sky Hotel Yala. The Manager was extremely kind and fullfilled all kind of wishes. So, he arranged a perfect fullday Safari to Yala for us. His Brother is a really good wildlife Ranger and not only made us see leopards, elefants and many more but also managed that we often could enjoy the animals for ourself because he knew a lot of beautiful secret spots. Also, the Manager easily arranged a transfer to our next Stop. We definetaly recommend everybody to stay at Blue Sky Hotel!

Coming down the B35 from Ella in our own tuktuk, we booked Safari Lodge Yala in Katharagama as our seventh accommodation on 25-27 March during our 15-day road trip, because of its proximity to the northern entrance to Yala NP. We were greeted with much enthusiasm by Savinda, who assigned us to the "Woodpecker" room. Nice and spacious with and en-suite bathroom. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, just like the pineapple juice with a scoop of ice cream. A private safari was arranged for us by the accommodation with service partner Onadi Yala Safari. Location in jungle few km outside Kataragama, Beautiful Romantic Naturel Clay House quiet place - very clean big room, nice fancy bathroom separate also clean and nice design. They've made everything for nature products wich is wonderfull. The Lady Host gives very good service hospitality she is kind friendly helpfull. Lasanthe (husband) has tuktuk and drive you in very friendly way. I like to come again and reccommend high on the list. From Lady I got some tea and fruits

Very good location, closhish to the entrance of the park :-) The owners cooked dinner for me. It was so tasty and cheap as well, one of the best sri lankan meals I had so far! They are very welcoming even though they struggle to speak english, they are lovely and will do anything to help you out 🙂

Host is very kind and welcoming. She gave us tea on arrival and bananas from her own garden which tasted amazing. Immaculatley clean room and bathroom. Room is very big and spacious Also had drying racks which was very handy, also had drying racks which was very handy. Very good air conditioning in room. Organised our safari ar Yala National Park before arrival. Great value for money. Would highy recommend.

5 star facilities hotel at reasonable price. Enjoyed the stay. Staff is very hospitable. Anyone who plans to visit Yala National Park must stay here. Quite an experience!
