An amazing place where I spent 5 weeks! It has a large green area with only 5-7 small standalone cottages. There are many animals and birds, and most importantly, they don’t make noise at night. Nearby is Jungle Beach, one of the few places in Weligama where swimming is comfortable since the waves are far away. The staff is wonderful—always polite and quick to resolve any issues, though there were very few during my stay. Communication was very smooth and comfortable! I talked to many people on the island, and I believe it’s hard to find a better place—hot water, good Wi-Fi, lots of greenery, no noise from roads or trains, air conditioning, excellent service, and only 7 minutes by bike to Weligama. Highly recommended!

OMG!!!! What a lovely place. We were made to feel so welcome from the minute we arrived. The staff are the kindest and most thoughtful I ever met. Breakfast was delicious with so much to choose from. The attention to every little detail to make you feel comfortable and at home was almost overwhelming. Thank you so much for this experience.

My stay in rusara guest home was amazing. The family were super nice and friendly, but not overbearing at all. Helped with whatever I needed. Hot water for showers (wasn't needed for my stay as it was quite hot) , and a fan in the room made it all comfortable. Perfect place to relax for a few days , location right by the beach and a ten minute walk to cheap local food. Can very much recommend staying here if looking for somewhere to stay in weligama for a few nights.

amazing location 2 minute walk to plantations and coconuts surf break. set away from the main road so was very quiet. breakfast and dinner was very nice and reasonably priced. rooms very clean and offered to clean daily if needed. staff very friendly

Very nice new apartment with private kitchen. The room is spacious and perfectly clean. The location is very convenient since you have only few metres to beach, restaurant, fruit shop, .etc. The owner is kind and willing to help with anything. Can totally recommend.

Silva was such a great host, he made sure we had everything we needed during the entire stay and even recommended a place to rent a bike nearby. The breakfast was great, and he would even wake us up in the morning when it was ready! He also let us have late check out at no extra charge. The AC was great, and had a nice warm shower. We shared a small kitchen area with another room so had fridge access which was very helpful.
