Sahan Guest House was an awesome find! The welcome was warm and genuine — I was even greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, which was a great touch after a long trip. The room was super clean, air-conditioned, and really comfortable. WiFi was fast and reliable, which was perfect for planning my day trips and staying connected. The location is perfect — right in the city, close to everything, and just a short ride to the ancient city. Super convenient if you’re exploring the cultural sites nearby. There’s also fast food and other restaurants nearby if you’re craving a quick bite. Honestly, the hospitality here is top-notch. Sahan and the team really care about their guests. I felt safe, relaxed, and very well taken care of. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!🍹🇻🇳

perfect location! ride to the ancient city is absolutely gorgeous and you can use the bicycle they have. hosts were super friendly, helpful and showed me around. really would recommend this place. breakfast was tasty and a lot. they even made me a lunch package.

Beautiful location in a garden with fruit trees and flowers. Our hosts were a very charming family. We ate delicious breakfast and dinners on the balcony. Guest accommodation upstairs and private, my sister and I had two very good rooms facing onto the garden. Close enough to ride bikes ( provided) to the Ancient City. Credit cards accepted.

Very nice homestay in Polonnaruwa with a Great local breakfast. We had an AC Room which was very modern and extremely clean. Very affordable accomodation. The Host Aruna is so awesome and welcoming. He offered us bike rental for exploring the ancient City. Very Special Person and a nice Place to stay

Room is very big, with comfortable beds. Very quiet location. Hot water works very well, there is even a toothpaste. WiFi works very well. We had no mosquitoes. To the historical part you can cycle by bicycle , there is a path, you don’t have to cycle on the highway. The juices are very tasty.

Very friendly family, they went out of their way to organise bikes for us and our 5 year old daughter. Felt very welcomed and would definitely come back here.
