Sahan Guest House was an awesome find! The welcome was warm and genuine — I was even greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, which was a great touch after a long trip. The room was super clean, air-conditioned, and really comfortable. WiFi was fast and reliable, which was perfect for planning my day trips and staying connected. The location is perfect — right in the city, close to everything, and just a short ride to the ancient city. Super convenient if you’re exploring the cultural sites nearby. There’s also fast food and other restaurants nearby if you’re craving a quick bite. Honestly, the hospitality here is top-notch. Sahan and the team really care about their guests. I felt safe, relaxed, and very well taken care of. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!🍹🇻🇳

I enjoyed staying at Aruna because it is located in a very quite neighborhood. Comfortable room and terrace. Welcome drink and good breakfast. Bike rental from the host was very practical (highly recommended to explore the historic city).

Nice air-conditioned apartments in a beautiful shady garden. The apartments are located close to the sights, the lake and shops, but far enough from the busy main street. The host was very attentive and willing to help us with anything and completely arranged a safari for us, including transportation. He also lent us bikes, which we used to ride around the lake one day and the next day to ride through the historical ruins. We spent 3 nights in the villa and it was a wonderful experience that we highly recommend to everyone.

Welcoming place, a few steps from the main attractions of Polonnaruwa. Very friendly and welcoming hosts, they gave us some excellent advice and prepared a good lunch and breakfast on demand. Very nice!
