I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, which is perfectly located just outside the village, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It’s an ideal base for exploring Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala, and you can easily rent a bike to get around. The hotel is set in the jungle, with charming independent houses that are very comfortable. Everything was spotless—pristine clean bedspreads, soft white towels, hot water, air conditioning, and satellite TV made my stay even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always going out of their way to ensure a great experience. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared, with a choice of continental, Sri Lankan, or English breakfast, as well as excellent lunch and dinner options. What makes this place even more special is that they only opened in December last year, and the owner is committed to giving young people opportunities for good jobs and a better future. I truly admire this initiative and wish them all the success. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable stay in nature!

I was not expecting such nice and tidy room at very first, for the money I have spent. It is located about 3 km away from sigiriya, have to travel by a jungle road, which gave me new experience, situated in a nice and calm full of nature and nice tiny village. The owner was very friendly and felt like home. They gave us very nice sri lankan breakfast with some sri lankan tea. Free WiFi, and we were having really nice experience. It was 110% for the money we have spent. The bed was very comfy and bathroom was very clean, surrounding was clean too. loved it and thank you for hosting us Eco Lodge ❤️

Samanthi's homestay felt like a home from home. The room smelt lovely and fresh as soon as you entered. Huge double beds, very clean. Surroundings were amazing. Set in a residential area with neighbours going about their everyday jobs. We had our best night's sleep here. Breakfast was amazing and Samanthi made sure we had a different dish on each day. Great host, amazing room and we would definitely recommend to other people. Thanks Samanthi and family.

We booked the Treehouse for one night, but loved the place, thus extended the stay for one night more. The Treehouse is new and clean with double bed and big terace in 2nd floor, open dining area and WC in 1st. We liked the feeling to live in the jungles, admire wonderful view of Pidurangala rock. The family runs only one tree house, so you can fell absolutely privacy. The owner Dominda and his family were very hostile and helpful. We come to the place late, so they offered to prepare us dinner, that was very delicious. Breakfast was also really good, with a lot of Sri Lankan dishes. Dominda helped us to plan our trips around. He also showed us a view of point at the lake with astonishing panorama of Pidurangala and Lion rock. Thanks a lot for a wonderful stay and unforgettable impressions :)
