The family that lives here has been super kind to us, they have given us recommendations of places to visit and they have brought us closer to their culture. In addition, the breakfast was excellent and they gave us a welcome appetizer. The house is beautiful, it is in a quiet area surrounded by nature and with incredible views. The room was very clean, the beds are comfortable, there is air conditioning and a private terrace. The bathroom is very good and has hot water.

First of all we liked the amazing view, doesnt matter if you are on the balcony, look out of the windows of your room or from the 360 Grad view roof top terrace, you will have a amazing view everywhere. You can see the mountains, the city, diffrent temples and the beautiful nature. Second thing we liked very much, was the food, for fair prices. So we had a high quality dinner and large portions on the roof top, cocked by the host. We liked it so much, so my girlfriend tooked a cocking lesson the next day by the host. She enjoyed it a lot. Specially the host is very friendly, makes you feeling like you are at home and helped us with everything we needed. He is happy if his guest are happy. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. If we come back to Kandy one day, theres no question where we will stay. Thank you a lot. Greetings Björn & Katjana

The guestroom is located in the families green garden and has a lot of space, even with a little are in the „second level“. We felt very welcome by the whole family from the first second on. As the house is located on a mountain hill, it was a bit tricky to get there, however, Sudesh organized it perfectly. The room is spacious, clean and had everything that was promised in the booking. The queen sized bed was super comfy and we had a good night rest despite the heavy rain that night. The breakfast was the best we had so far on our trip through Sri Lanka and we were even asked for any preferences on what to get & when to get it. Totally recommend!!

The best stay I've ever had. Memorable for life for sure! I was so stressed out by Kandy's hectic city vibes, that their beautiful hotel felt like an oasis (just as it looks and feels like on the photos). I had completely forgotten about dinner, and was surprised with scrambled eggs on toast (my favorite!). Chanaka & Moon are two beautiful people, who look after their guests wonderfully. Even though I would not like to visit Kandy city again, I would visit again only to stay at Villa Olde Ceylon for multiple days <3

It was a lovely stay with a very cosy room with great view. It's like staying away from the busy town, but still be only 10min away from it. Perfect experience. The terrace wad great, enjoying the cool evening seeing the lights of Kandy and Sunset. The hospitality was amazing. Thanks so much!
