Chatau and his family are incredible hosts. We arrived on Christmas Eve and were invited to a Christmas dinner that they prepared for the whole hotel. He helped us during the week we stayed there with everything from renting scooter to surf lessons for a good price. He is genuinely interested and wants you to have a good stay. Even though the accommodation is quite close to the busy road we couldn’t hear it from our room. The accommodation is also very clean, spacious and totally worth the money. Would definitely stay here again if going to Midigama. Thanks again for everything!

I originally planned to stay for just one week, but in the end I stayed for an entire month. The host family is incredibly loving and helpful. Every day I received a delicious, freshly prepared lunch, and my laundry was always washed very thoroughly. I’m especially grateful to my host brother, who helped me with many practical things, such as renting a scooter or visiting a temple together. Even though there is a small language barrier, my stay was truly wonderful and enriching. The accommodation is perfect for anyone who enjoys a calm and peaceful atmosphere and for those who want to get a little closer to the local culture. I can really recommend this place!

I had a great stay at Calm Nature Resort— so good that I even extended my stay! The place itself is brand new. The facilities are great— there is a shared fridge and washing machine/clothes rack to dry your clothes. Plenty of space to park! The room itself had a ceiling fan, a double bed with mosquito net, a desk, plenty of space to store clothes and an en-suite bathroom. There is a big shared balcony which was our favourite place to spot monkeys in the trees, squirrels and listen to the birds in the morning. It’s a quiet piece of paradise and tucked away from the road :) It’s about midway between Midigama village and the beach (10 min walk or 2min scooter) There’s plenty of small shops along the road to buy most amenities— there is one just next to the house with definitely the best selection (would recommend!) Would like to thank the beautiful family of this place for having us, and for giving us such warm hospitality and so much great food. Would highly recommend this stay!!

Very new and clean room. Big comfortable bed with mosquito net. Fan. Clean big bathroom (only not hot water). the room had a table and a bench. It's very cheap for the quality of the room and it is close to the beach. great location. Kind staff that helped me with my bags. Totally recommend it. I wish i had found it first. Just be careful cause google maps doesn't show the right location. Call the man, he will help easily. Not difficult to access, just wrong in the map

I only stayed for one night, but I loved the view from the balcony overlooking the lush green garden. So beautiful. I could sit there for hours. The place is nicely tucked away from the main road and therefore quiet, but only a very short walk from the beach and restaurants. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The shower had warm water. It was a nice detail that there was a booklet in the room with recommendations for sightseeing and attractions nearby and some information about how they recycle the trash. I think it's great that they make the effort to recycle and try to be a good example for the community , for that reason alone it's already worth supporting them.
