The best stay in Maskeliya. If you are visiting Maskeliya don't even think of booking any other property. The rooms have a great lake and Adam's Peak view. You can spend endless time watching the lake. The staff is humble. Food was good and homemade, however price needs adjustment. Ample space for parking.

Dhammika is a great host, he organized the entire stay for us including all must have attractions. The food was amazing. We highly recommend this place!

The location is fantastic if you need to start to climb Adam’s Peak for sunrise. Enjoyed the tea on arrival. The host was super kind and gave me some medicine for my upset stomach. The dinner was fine. The price is ok for the facilities of a normal room with the usual Sri Lanka style bathroom. Easy to find when you get of the local bus from Hatton train station

Ishara was fabulous, very sweet, cooked us an amazing Sri Lankan dinner, felt like a home stay. She organised our trip to Adam’s Peak at 2am. Very accommodating when we had to change our plans!

The food was delicious and very affordable. You need to give the caretaker at least 2 hours notice to prepare meals. The price for this homestay is excellent, but you get what you pay for.

Hamantha is a wonderful owner. He will provide you with insights and guide you to the best places! His English is very good which makes it easy to have conversation about any topic. The Homestay has a 20 year old guess book with National Geographic in it. I had my own bathroom and enough privacy. just a tip: make sure to take the 2nd blanket that you are being offered. Sometimes in the night it can get cold.
