I had booked 1 room at Green House Yala however when we reached Mr. Santha informed me that the previous guest extended their stay so there was no rooms available at his Homestay however he managed to accommodate me at his sisters homestay which was equally good at the same price. His sister als was very friendly and down to earth. She made lovely breakfast for me - Fruit plate, string hoppers, black coffee, bananas, potatoes stew and King Coconut water. Breakfast was part of the package She made dinner on request for me - Chicken gravy, rice, 4 varieties of vegetables, papdam etc it was equally tasty and I requested to make it non spicy for me. Overall I loved my stay at her Homestay known as Vihaga Regency Yala.

Very nice and comfortable place. the staff are very well taken care of and prepare breakfast before an early safari. at the same time, the staff is also invisible, so you feel that the whole villa belongs to you (if there are no other guests). we spent most of our time on the terrace by the pool, meaning in the common area, which was very nice to be around.

How helpful the owner and his staff were. Gave me good Intel about how to get other arrangements ie travel and things to do in the area without giving the impression it was beneficial to him in anyway. Had lunch there and it was very tasty.A beautiful location. If I ever visit the area again I will head straight there.If urconsidering safari don't waste ur time shopping around his rates are very reasonable. And he makes it a pleasurable experience. Treat yourself to a very enjoyable stay

We stayed with Kasun and Nirosha and they were amazing hosts. We were met with ginger tea and pancakes and had a big spacious room and bathroom to ourselves. Kasun organised a safari for us also where he came as out guide! He was amazing as our driver as well, he brought us to the many places we needed to go! The homestay was only about 30mins drive from Yala national park and we had a brilliant day on safari as well. They were so accommodating with everything we asked for.

We stayed with Kasun and Nirosha and they were amazing hosts. We were met with ginger tea and pancakes and had a big spacious room and bathroom to ourselves. We recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable homestay tucked away in the heart of nature. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by surroundings, all the beautiful details and the tranquil ambiance that enveloped the entire place. However, what truly made our stay unforgettable was the mesmerizing encounter with a resident crocodile. Karin and Santha are the loveliest hosts - it felt like family and we can’t wait to come back!
