Apart than the house being really beautiful, each time discovering another artistic detail, the location was perfect and central to beach and touristic attractions yet also a high end residential area. I asked for a pancake breakfast and it was delicious and the hosts were a couple that were inviting, friendly and always eager to help. I unfortunately only booked 2 nights but upon arrival I took pictures of this gem and sent it to my close friends. I am lucky to have found this place and will most certainly come back

Great value for the price. Located in a quiet neighborhood, only a 15-minute tuk-tuk ride to the center of Colombo. The host was very friendly and approachable, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The room was clean and tidy. Such a great place! Madu, the host, is an extremely friendly lady who made me feel like home. Her care and service is beyond amazing. Make sure to try her Dahl as this was one of the best I had in 2 months traveling through SL. The room was clean and comfortable. If I come back to Colombo one day I would stay here again

Everything from start to finish. Sampath is just an EXCEPTIONAL host! He welcomed us, offered tea/coffee/snacks, gave us plenty of tips and ideas about what to do in the area. Personally took us to some places. The Eco Lodge is kept extremely nice and clean. Very comfortable beds and all facilities. Also, Sampath's wife is an amazing cook. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and our wishes were totally taken into account. They also have a super cute dog and cat. Just... Book this place, it's amazing!
