Great value accommodation close to Lion Rock. Kind, friendly, and informative host. Thank you for the 5:30am Tuk Tuk ride to the Rock. Highly recommend a hike up the stairs to the summit too despite the $35 USD entrance fee.

The owner and his family are really nice people, very helpful and kind. The breakfast is huge and delicious! It’s a short walk to restaurants and bars, very well located! We walked to sigiri rock in 30 min. The owner will get you anything you need ! The rooms didn’t smell of damp for once and it was good value for the money!

The place, is really relaxing, nature surroundings give pleasure and the feeling as if in the jungle. Extremely clean room, comfy bed, full breakfast. The hotel is near the Sigiria, just 5 minutes to get to the entrance. Saman and his family are welcoming and nice people. You are like at your home here. The place to stay for sure. Samanthi's homestay felt like a home from home. The room smelt lovely and fresh as soon as you entered. Huge double beds, very clean. Surroundings were amazing. Set in a residential area with neighbours going about their everyday jobs. We had our best night's sleep here. Breakfast was amazing and Samanthi made sure we had a different dish on each day. Great host, amazing room and we would definitely recommend to other people. Thanks Samanthi and family.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The patties were some of the best I’ve ever had. They also served bananas grown on their own farm, called "Naga bananas." I was surprised by their rich, sticky texture. Whenever I asked for help with things I wanted to do or places I wanted to visit, they immediately made arrangements. They were incredibly reliable and helpful. Also, their child was so cute—it was very heartwarming.

The location is really nice as it is a bit away from the main toad (5min walk). The hosts are the nicest guys, which were ready to arrange everything we have asked for. They have arranged a safari in Kaudulla and then dropoff at the next hotel we were staying. They prepared us the most delicious curry and rice for dinner. Breakfast was also amazing, Srilankan’s pancakes and roti, fresh fruit and fresh juice. I recommend this hotel to everyone and we were sad that couldn’t stay for more nights.
