It's a very beautiful acommodation. It has different categories of rooms which also allows the budget travellers to enjoy this hotel and these beautiful views. The staff was very professional and friendly. The room was in a good state and very clean. The bathroom has warm water, there was a warm blanket, a water kettle, tea and coffee. The terrasse with the room was nice and on the rooftop of the main building there was a beautiful view on the mountains. The restaurant was rather expensive for a budget traveller but the food looked very well presented and it probably is very tasty. It's not too far from the city centre, a 20 minute walk or you can take the local bus or tuktuk. The cameras around the property gave me a feeling of safety. the manager is most kind. When we had some problems with our laundry (because of my mistake there were bleach stains on it), they didn't charge for the washing and he even went to the shop late in the evening to buy new clothes for us, while it wasn't even their fault at all. I can only recommend this place! I would definitely come back here.

Stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the place. The view is fantastic, good coffee, room service, fun manager:)) just keep in mind it’s in the mountains so the weather can get chilly and rainy.

We only intended to stay for a night, but ended up extending our visit because we loved it here! The accommodation is very simple but spotless, and well-maintained, with a convenient tea-making area. The hosts helped organize our visits to Lipton's Seat, the Pekoe Trail, Horton Plains, and local waterfalls. We managed to do all these activities despite the rainy weather, but it definitely makes us want to come back during a different season to see the views under a clear sky. The guesthouse is located right next to the railway but since trains do not run at night, our sleep was not disturbed at all. For anyone who loves quiet, uncrowded mountains, this place is absolute heaven—perfect for a multi-day stay to explore the region.

I had a great stay at Adisham Village Home. The views from the rooms are stunning, with a beautiful mountain backdrop. The property is very clean and well maintained. The room had a kettle and hot water, which made the stay even more comfortable. There is also a washing machine available for guests to use free of charge, a kitchen with utensils, and a sitting room with games and activities that guests can share and enjoy. It is a great location for those who want to do the Pekoe Trail. The railway station is not far and can be reached easily by walking or by bus in about five minutes. Mr. Sameera, the host, was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Haputale.

Excellent room, clean, well equipped, beautiful, at affordable price. Kale, the host, is a cream, helpful. You can also rent a motorbike to visit the tea plantations, very convenient since there are not a lot of options in the town. I wish I could have taken more time enjoying the terrasse.

Amazing woman in an amazing location. The entire take is “rustic living” in Sri Lanka: boiled water for the shower with natural herbs from the garden, home cooked food over an open fire, and the best sleep you’ll get in town. I’ve stayed in many Homestay across South Asia — nothing have compared to the quality and hospitality of this. Thanks so much Gesheila :)

The homestay offers incredible views, large, comfortable rooms, and a peaceful atmosphere. But the most special part of Nilowin is the kind, helpful family who run the guesthouse and the delicious, fresh, home cooked food in an idyllic setting. Our whole family took the cooking class and learned so much about Sri Lankan food and culture. I can't recommend it enough. The local village and tea fields are beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed it all so much that we extended our stay.

Short walk to town, nice view on terrace. Really lovely hosts and really good curry for dinner. We also were able o be picked up to get to the guest house and leave our bags for free.

We actually loved staying here and knew the moment we came that we wanted to stay another night! Everybody was so amazing and helped us organise our trips :) The food was also really really good! Shirodh was our driver for the 2-3 days and made our experience a lot better here! He stopped everywhere we wanted to and also explained and showed us many things! All in all we loved the welcoming family and their homestay with its amazing view of the mountains and tea plantations!
