The Hosts were excellent, I had breakfast and evening meals at very reasonable rates, I also had some laundry done overnight, it came back clean and dry (again at a very reasonable rate). The location was fabulous right next to the park - Note this property is in the countryside, its beauty but not many restaurants close by.... This was NOT an issue for me. I loved being able to view and enjoy the nature close by farmers walking their buffalo out to pasture and back home, the views from the roof top - I also went on a bird watch safari with the host which was excellent

We had a fantastic stay. We arrived and were warmly welcomed. Our room was ready and it looked great. We had a room with sea view. We were immediately offered a beer on arrival and in the evening the host prepared fresh fish, shrimps, chips and rice for us. One of the best dishes we've had in Sri Lanka. The accommodation is located directly at sea, so you have a lot of peace here. The host is very helpful and will make your stay comfortable.

Among the best guest houses I've been. Very friendly and helpful owner, excellent food and tea, central and quiet location with sea view, 100m from beach and 500m from main bus station. Room had private bathroom, fan, good ventilation and daylight, is mosquito-proof when doors closed, and had a balcony with sea view. Free wifi is available. Very good value for money. It's very pleasant to sit on the balcony or in the shaded garden in the breeze, hear the sound of the waves and enjoy the view.

This is am experience you wont forget! Sleeping on a platform in the jungle was so peaceful. We absolutely loved the motorbike safari, highlight of the holiday. Saw elephants crocodiles and heaps of birds. Owner is very experienced guide and so knowledgeable. We loved it, absolutely unforgettable.

Casa Vacansa was the most surprisingly amazing accommodation of our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. The whole homestay is decorated with so much love and attention to detail, something we found missing in most other accommodations where everything is more "functional". The room, bathroom and especially the terrace were amazing and it's a nice and romantic atmosphere for two having your dinner on the big porch. The food was very good (we had Sri Lankan Sea Food Curry) and it was fantastic and the service even better. The owner has 15 years of experience in a luxury hotel and it just shows with his service and attention to detail and his great English. We also did 2 tours to the nearby bird sanctuary and the Ussangoda Beach with him and had a great time. The area is very quiet so it's a good getaway from the busy hustling and bustling of the coastal towns to relax and enjoy the quiet. I almost never write feedbacks but our stay here was just too great not to write one.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at Kirinda Paradise Yala. The room was clean, spacious, and had access to a large common terrace. The property is in a very quiet area, with a well-maintained yard and a swimming pool—perfect for hot days. Be sure to try host's seafood platter, but come with an empty stomach :) Shaluka and his wife are incredibly hospitable, and our daughter had a fantastic time playing with their sons. Shaluka’s place is ideal for those planning to visit Yala National Park, as it is only 20 minutes from the park entrance. We would love to stay here again!

We stayed for 3 weeks in Sri Lanka and this was One of our favorite experiences. We truly loved the caring way we were received by the hosts, almost feeling like home. We choose to do a safari through them and everything contributed to have the most wonderful experience - they woke us up with coffee and waited until the jeep got to us. We also did have all our dinners there and it was great - the hosts even got a lantern so we could look for crocodiles around! Perfect stay

I had the best stay here!!! The host was extreamly sweet and helpsom person! Making sure that you didn’t need anything. Very generous and good breakfast and dinner. Excelent location. Short walk to the town and right next to Tissa lake and fruit bat wiew point. I got safari organised by the place and it was beyond any expectations. I saw every possible animal the park has including leopard. And planty of elephants. I give the highest caracter and recomend it for a stay you will not be dissapointed about.

The host is just an amazing person (he is doing everything so you feel comfortable), even when we left he still was helping us with different advices. We arranged Safari in Yala from the hotel, and a nice snack and water was prepared for us. The room is in the house of the host, but very clean and comfortable and it was calm. The breakfast was amazing and the host brought us with his tuk tuk for a dinner in the city. We stayed only one night but definitely recommend for others.
