It was like staying at your relative’s house. Felt like home. The hosts were very helpful nice people. Room was large and clean. Price was decent and they provide Tuktuk service and scooter for rent. Overall was fantastic. Also got help for ordering food as it was late and exchange of currency.

Everything was amazing. The place, the house, the rooms, the view from everywhere on the property and especially from the roof, the breakfast is so good and the quiet pool next door overlooking mountains and jungle is perfect around sunset. But the best was the people there. Piyal and his wife makes this place so warm and unique, you feel the love they feel for and put into this place and they welcome you like family. I left with a full heart. Thank you.

We only stayed for 1 night but from the moment we entered the door, it was like being at home with family. The house is beautiful and Ayesha and her family were so kind! They fed us an amazing feast for dinner and breakfast the next day, some of the best food we have had in Sri Lanka. The views from the house are incredible, peace and quiet away from the bustle of Kandy, although only a short drive in if you want to go to the lake, temples etc.

I’ve stayed in many different places during my month-long trip through Sri Lanka, but this one truly stands out above them all.✨ It is by far the most beautiful and peaceful place I have visited. Suresh is the kindest host you could ever meet — he does everything he can to make you feel completely at home.🧡 The view is absolutely breathtaking, everything is spotless and well taken care of, and the breakfast is unbelievably delicious. If you wish, they also prepare dinner, and you can really taste the love and skill that goes into every dish. We enjoyed every single meal here. Staying here has been an unforgettable experience — one we can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone. We loved everything about this place! We were only sad we couldn't stay longer. Deer Hill is run by such a welcoming and kind family who were the highlight of our stay. They prepared an exceptional breakfast and dinner for us each day and saw to our every need. They even arranged a van for us to go to Pidarungala Rock and drove us there as a family! 🥹 The rooms and living area at Deer Hill are spacious and comfortable, and the view from the balcony was just lovely. The place is located in such a beautiful environment close to nature, without being too far from the city. It's perfect! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Kandy 🩵

This property has amazing views, so clean and beautiful. The best thing about this place though is the family, I will never forget how warm hearted they were and instantly felt like they cared for me.
