The room is really big for 1 person. The family owns the property. Everyone is so friendly and I feel very comfortable. They even gave me wood apple juice. And made tea the next day in the morning but since I was rushing for the train back to Colombo I couldn't drink. Felt so bad. If you don't mind like me to listen to the train passes by go for it.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay! In terms of location and being right on the beach, you can't ask for more, we loved it. The room was exceptionally clean and we really appreciated having a little fridge too, which was a nice surprise. The breakfast was very tasty, and Saman and his family looked after us during our stay. We have stayed in seven different places so far whilst in Sri Lanka, and this one is in our top two. Fab location. Indika and his team were super friendly and warm. We felt totally at home. We were at galle only a night but this was perfect. The room was clean and neat and so was the bathroom. The location was incredible. I've never been so close to the ocean. The cafe lunch fish and prawn curry was yum and reasonably priced. And the cafe is just lovely to sit and have a beer and watch the ocean waves just 10 feet away. It's just a 10 min ride to galle town and tuk tuk are super easy to get. Very happy with our decision to stay here. Will come again if ever in the area. Tip: if taking the coast train from colombo the station boosa is just 1km from the guest house rather than galle which is 7. So good to get off here. No worries it you get off at galle. It's like i said a ten min tuk tuk ride. Little tip: go early morning to galle and walk the empty streets and see morning slowly unfold in the Town and walk on the ocean walk boundary wall. It's beautiful.
