Everything was great, lovely (very responsive) hosts, beautiful accommodation, with very large bathroom, perfect breakfast. Our children loved the two cats, the dog and the peacock. We only stayed one night, but would have loved to stay a couple more.

We made the booking in the last minute. And we arrived early so of course our room was not ready. We were okey with it, we just wanted to put our bags to any place. But they gave us a temporary room. And they said we'd stay as long as we wanted. They brought us avocado juice and then tea with pancake. We weren't expect this hospitality because we stayed many places in Sri Lanka. We rest in the temporary room and then they get our room ready. We are really surprized when we saw the room. Because it's so huge and has everything. We really felt like at home. This people are extraordinary. We extended our stay and second and third day we were trying to complete the payment. They didn't want us to make the payment right away. They said we could do it whenever we were available. Finally, on the third day, we were able to pay, and although they brought us a lot of food, tea, snacks, they did not ask for the payment for them. They said "you are our guest" ❤️ The family are so kind and very friendly 🙏 we wish to stay here again❤️ A big thank you for everything! We appreciate what you did in our stay🙏 If you want to know more info about the room, ıt was so huge and clean. All furnitures are new and in good condition. Actually they just started to rent this place. So you can be sure everything is new and very clean. If you can ask, they can bring you a kettle. Also the family has a mini market in the entry. You can buy anything with a good price. You can be sure that they will do everything in their power to make you comfortable. You won't find such service even in a much more expensive place. I hope if you come to Galle you will choose Silver Rail based on the satisfaction of all reviews. I recommend it wholeheartedly. We rate this place 10/10000000000000000000👌

Our stay at Villa Ema is incredible because it’s uniqueness and modernity. The experience became memorable due to the helpful and friendly staff. The room was very clean and comfortable so we felt it like home from the first time. Hosts were very friendly and kind and they did their best for us, especially their daughter who speaks very good English and she helped us even with the informations we needed about our transportation. We have to mention also that they made for us a special breakfast from Sri Lanka that we wanted to try. We highly recommend this hotel for vacations!

I had a lovely stay at 4ty two Homestay ! We spent one night in the budget double room which didn’t feel ‘budget’ at all and was super comfortable with a massive bed, AC and a ceiling fan and a balcony. There is no en suite but a bathroom one floor down to use. The hosts were so friendly and willing to help with everything and they even helped us organise the bus trip to the airport for no extra charge. The location is great about 10/15 minute walk to the train or bus station and to the Fort. Can’t recommend enough !!

The owner is very hospitable and attentive. We had some issues with the AC in our room, she came herself to check and also ordered service to fix it right away. The stay was made more enjoyable by the impeccable service of the staff. Cant recommend this place enough! It was the most comfortable stay we had in Galle.

That was probably our favourite spot during our stay on the island. We were supposed to head to the central regions, but due to the weather situation in the mountains, returned for two more nights after our initial three. The place has the best atmosphere, right by the seafront and Indika was a super kind, welcoming and helpful host, along with his lovely family and of course dear Shadow. The food was really delicious and as for the waiting times mentioned by some below, it was more of a catch-of-the-day situation (husband really loved the chance to fish on the beach himself, also!), so that can really be expected and is absolutely worth it.
