We made the booking in the last minute. And we arrived early so of course our room was not ready. We were okey with it, we just wanted to put our bags to any place. But they gave us a temporary room. And they said we'd stay as long as we wanted. They brought us avocado juice and then tea with pancake. We weren't expect this hospitality because we stayed many places in Sri Lanka. We rest in the temporary room and then they get our room ready. We are really surprized when we saw the room. Because it's so huge and has everything. We really felt like at home. This people are extraordinary. We extended our stay and second and third day we were trying to complete the payment. They didn't want us to make the payment right away. They said we could do it whenever we were available. Finally, on the third day, we were able to pay, and although they brought us a lot of food, tea, snacks, they did not ask for the payment for them. They said "you are our guest" ❤️ The family are so kind and very friendly 🙏 we wish to stay here again❤️ A big thank you for everything! We appreciate what you did in our stay🙏 If you want to know more info about the room, ıt was so huge and clean. All furnitures are new and in good condition. Actually they just started to rent this place. So you can be sure everything is new and very clean. If you can ask, they can bring you a kettle. Also the family has a mini market in the entry. You can buy anything with a good price. You can be sure that they will do everything in their power to make you comfortable. You won't find such service even in a much more expensive place. I hope if you come to Galle you will choose Silver Rail based on the satisfaction of all reviews. I recommend it wholeheartedly. We rate this place 10/10000000000000000000👌

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Ema — one of the most beautiful places we stayed at during our trip through Sri Lanka. It’s a true oasis of peace where the only sounds you hear are birds chirping — absolutely fantastic! The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and easy to reach via WhatsApp. They were always helpful and attentive. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel very very welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. The place is extremely clean and well cared for. The home cooked breakfasts are something else. Local cuisine made traditionally. Some of the best food I have had. One of the best places I have ever stayed at. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone travelling to Galle.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay! In terms of location and being right on the beach, you can't ask for more, we loved it. The room was exceptionally clean and we really appreciated having a little fridge too, which was a nice surprise. The breakfast was very tasty, and Saman and his family looked after us during our stay. We have stayed in seven different places so far whilst in Sri Lanka, and this one is in our top two. Beautiful, large room right next to the beach. With a balcony overlooking the sea. We kept our doors a little open so the seabreeze and soothing sound of the waves crashing comforted us to sleep. The owner is a very chill and nice person, willing to help you with planning trips etc. The food in the restaurant is amazing! We had a very wonderful stay 🫶🏻

Warm and friendly family that do everything to make your stay amazing. Very comfortable bed, good air conditioning and super fast wi fi. The villa is so close to all the tourist spots and very close to the fort. You’ll be entertained by the local monkey, (so much fun to watch). Great breakfast and coffee.
