This is a very nice villa among the countryside, surrounded by beautiful landscape and peaceful sounds. The room and bathroom were very clean and the mattress super comfortable, everything was perfect to relax after long days of exploration. It was a perfect stay for three days :) They organized a taxi from the airport to their beautiful homestay. The location in the green jungle is a great starting point for many attractions in the area. If you want to do tours, hikes, or visit temples, you’ll get help and transportation from the host. You will be served a nice breakfast on your terrace, and dinner is also available if you wish. All in all, it was an easy and pleasant stay.

We had a great time at miracle home stay. The location is great to explore the rock temples (reachable by foot). The room was very clean, new, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was very good. The best part has been getting to know the host and his family, they all have been kind and supportive and we had great chats. Definitely the best host we met in Sri Lanka! He drove us to the restaurant at night, took us to the bus station when we were leaving. We definitely recommend to have dinner at home, we had one of the best rice and curry of our trip!

At Blue Mountains View you will get the full Sri Lankan experience. Extremely Fresh food from the garden, lovely people and they speak very good english so they will explain everything about the culture and food. Also the girl who works there gives a very good garden tour, she knew so much and was very enthusiastic to share her knowledge with us. The room was amazing, felt very fancy! Athula and his family are absolutely wonderful hosts. Athula takes his role as a host seriously and puts so much time and effort into ensuring his guests have an exceptional experience. One example is that we had a power outage (across the whole village) and Athula promptly got on the phone to the electricity authority to arrange for the power to be reconnected, and it was sorted within half an hour or so! He also drove me to and from town for a very reasonable rate (and initially refused payment for my last trip to the bus station until I insisted). The property is in a peaceful part of town — a little bit of a walk from the city centre but manageable. The room was impeccably clean and Athula’s family put a lot of thought into preparing the room, particularly with small (but appreciated!) details — towels folded into beautiful designs, a water bottle, etc. The air conditioning was much appreciated in Dambulla’s heat, too! The breakfast was super generous (far too much food for me!) and lovely. Athula also arranged a wonderful tuk tuk driver to take me to Sigiriya for sunrise, and on the way back the driver took me to a several other fantastic viewpoints — I really recommend the driver, he’s a lovely and reliable guy. Honestly, this place is incredible value for money and Athula is an exceptional host. I can’t recommend Green Village highly enough!
