The hosts are really nice and super helpful. It was my first accommodation in Sri Lanka, and it was the best start I could get: The host picked me up from the airport, helped me to get cash and a SIM card and explained a lot about the country and Beruwala with a lot of tips of what to do. The room was nice and clean and the house is right at the beach, with a big balcony facing the sea. I got amazing Sri Lankan breakfast every morning on the balcony and the hosts checked in with me regularly to make sure I have a smooth stay and to recommend things to do and places to visit. I can highly recommend the stay and would book again if I return to Beruwala.

Maheshi and her beautiful family could not have been any kinder to me during my stay at their lovely home. During my time there, I felt like I was being welcomed as one of the family. They helped me with medicine, tuktuks, trains etc. The room was so comfortable and spacious, with mosquito net around the bed and air conditioning. The bathroom was so clean and had a large, powerful shower. There is a wonderful rooftop perfect for morning yoga surrounded by the beautiful trees and plants growing around the house. Breakfast is served on a balcony each morning and you can hear birds singing. There is also a kitchen available for guests to use to prepare and store your own food. The best breakfast I have had in Sri Lanka - everything from homemade milk rice to sambol to omelettes and fresh fruit and bread. Maheshi was so generous with the portion size and the food was so delicious. She also offered tea throughout my stay and helped me to recover from illness. Thank you so much Maheshi and family x

Guesthouse owner and his wife was extremely friendly and helpful. Guesthouse is well situated and close to everything we needed. We had a seafood buffet on our last night,prepared by the owner and his wife, and it was exceptional, fresh and very tasty, also very well priced compared to the restaurants in the area. Will definitely stay there again, beds comfortable and room clean, hot water in shower takes a while to warm up, but after that it's perfect! The highlight was meeting " Toby" the Labrador, who kills you with love!

I'm an expat living in Sri Lanka for 2 years. Been to a dozen of hotels around the island and so far this one of my favorite places. It's a nice small hotel/guesthouse for like 10 rooms. The garden and scenery inside is absolutely marvellous! They have a pool and unlike most of the enormous hotel pools with water temperature +30C in SL, it's small and really refreshing! The staff is really pleasant and helpfull (special cheers to Achala :). There was a construction works going in the neighborhood, and they moved me to the better room in another block far away from the noise for free. All the minor problems with the equipment have been dealt immediately. Very pleasant people and atmosphere where I felt like home. The location is also very nice - it's 1.5 hour ride from Colombo and you can just go there for a weekend. I came for 3 days, stayed for 2 weeks. WiFi is pretty good. It's also 3 minute walk from northern Moragalla beach which has a distant underwater reef that protects from waves and high tide even at the worst weather and during off season. Breakfast is good as well as dinner a-la-carte. This is not a luxury place but really cozy and totally worth the price. Will come back there again for sure

Great place and the ocean is the neighbour. We booked two days but deside two stay two more nights. The staff is Wonderful and take very good care of you. We felt like home. Will miss this place and can really recomend it. Will come back for sure.
