Staying with Piumi and her family was the most heart warming and beautiful way to end my trip in Sri Lanka. The whole family is very kind and opened their home and shared part of their customs traditions with me as well as served amazing breakfast and dinner always. Best food I have eaten in all of Sri Lanka honestly! Piumi helped me plan and organize to see the turtle conservation, herb garden as well as took me to an Ayurvedic massage! The beach is just a short walk away and it is the most beautiful beach from the whole coast in my opinion. Untouched and pure nature with no people and beautiful sunsets.

I cannot tell you how at home I felt with Samid. They made me feel comfortable since the first very beginning. When I got there they welcome me with a Papaya juice and a warm smile. The room was cleaned and the private bathroom as well. The fan is perfectly above the bed so no issue on sleeping even though when it’s hot outside. I couldn’t find any place for dinner around and they offer to cook dinner and breakfast for me at really cheap prices. I spent the whole evening with the family and I had great moments together with them. I went to Balapitiya to spend authentic time with locals and I think I succeeded in that. Thanks 🙏🏻

Bakers cottage was a stop for us as we were making our way back to Colombo. Accommodation was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Family were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good with fruits from the garden and some local Sri Lankan dishes. The mattress was a little bit hard for us, but this is likely to be replaced as the family noted this. Location on Kosgoda beach meant a lovely sunset. Swimming options further up the beach or a short tuk tuk drive away. A few restaurants nearby, local and tourist and more options not to far away by tuk tuk

I had an amazing experience staying at here. The location is absolutely perfect, with a beautiful beach. The sea view is breathtaking and truly adds to the overall experience. The villa itself is spotless and very well-maintained, creating a calm and offering a comfortable environment to relax. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the place. The staff were also very helpful and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Choosing to stay here was definitely a pleasure.
