Bakers cottage was a stop for us as we were making our way back to Colombo. Accommodation was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Family were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good with fruits from the garden and some local Sri Lankan dishes. The mattress was a little bit hard for us, but this is likely to be replaced as the family noted this. Location on Kosgoda beach meant a lovely sunset. Swimming options further up the beach or a short tuk tuk drive away. A few restaurants nearby, local and tourist and more options not to far away by tuk tuk

We really enjoyed staying at Villa Sea Queen, the place is relaxing. The beach is actually for yourself. The pool is an oasis of peace. The owners run their Villa with full commitment and definitely put a lot of enthusiasm into this work. We recommend this place for a holiday holiday. Definitely 6 stars 😃🙂

The family we stayed with were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. The rooms were clean. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary whilst we stayed and the family surprised us with a cake and a card. We really became part of the family and will definitely be back again.
