Stayed at COZYREST near Kolsay and Kaindy Lakes and honestly loved it. The place really lives up to the name, super cozy, warm, and feels like you’re staying in someone’s comfy cabin rather than a random rental. We came in late autumn (basically almost winter) and it was still really warm inside, which was such a relief after being out exploring all day. The owner was super friendly and helpful. We rented a car and had no issues with parking. Location-wise, it’s perfect for visiting Kolsay and Kaindy. You can drive to Kaindy yourself but the road is pretty rocky and rough, so I’d actually recommend using their ride service. It’s not expensive and definitely less stressful than trying to take your own car up there. Breakfast is included and served at whatever time you agree on, and you can order other meals too which is super convenient when you just wanna stay in. Also tried the Russian banya, definitely recommend it. Just tell them ahead so they can prep it. Overall, really cozy spot, super homey vibes, perfect base for exploring the lakes. I’d definitely stay here again, totally recommend it.

We loved the welcoming family that manage the property. They make you fell at home. Although they do not speak in English you can easily communicate with them. The all inclusive formula is just perfect as in the village there is no such an offer in terms of restaurant. Highly recommend

It was the most unique location around the area. The view and the surrounding was amazing I like the concept of living area kitchen and washroom down stairs n room upstairs.

This was our favourite place we stayed in Kazakhstan. The staff were so hospitable and kind, the rooms were clean, the food tasty and the showers hot. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Perfect location ! About 30 walk of the lake ! There is even a cave to visit on the way. Food both dinner and breakfastincluded Homemade food ! Clean and and everything we needed in the room ! The lady was really friendly and helped us with everything we needed !

I had a wonderful time at Kausar, the family was super welcoming. They let me ride their horse, have a sauna experience, take me to a nature spot that is more known by the locals and gave me good food. All in all it was a lovely stay and I would highly recommend.

Nice guesthouse run by an incredibly nice and welcoming family! Located in a small village not far from Saty, it is nice and quiet and possible to walk up on the nearby hills to watch the sunset. Meals were also delicious, and although they didn’t speak perfect English, they were very nice and were able to make conversation using translators:)
