We had a very comfortable stay at The Mini-Hotel on Mukanov Street. The location is perfect, with restaurants, markets, and public transport all nearby. The room had all the necessary facilities, including a microwave, which added extra convenience. A special thanks to Tim, who was extremely helpful and responsive. He was always quick to reply and assisted us every time we needed help. Most importantly, he went out of his way to help us receive a balance payment from a tour company by allowing the amount to be transferred to his account and then forwarding it to us — a gesture we truly appreciated. We truly loved ALMATY!!! The only suggestion would be to consider offering breakfast, which would make the experience even better. Highly recommended for both comfort and outstanding hospitality!

The location was great, it was a 20 minute walk to the Kok Tobe cable car and only a 25 minute drive to the airport in Almaty. The room was spacious and comfortable. They also offered a breakfast which was lovely. Our host was fantastic, very friendly and accommodating, despite the language barrier. He booked our taxi to the airport and also provided good recommendations for the local area, including sights and restaurants. We would highly recommend staying here on a visit.

Charming Place with Minor Flaws Sweet Garden is a lovely guesthouse with a lot of character. The warm atmosphere and nice decor make it feel more like a home than a hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Breakfasts were another strong point: homemade, hearty, and very satisfying thanks to Aliya. The location is also a big plus: quiet, yet within easy reach of the city center. That said, our room was a bit smaller than expected,. There was also some noise from neighboring rooms at night. But these were minor issues in an otherwise enjoyable stay. If you’re looking for a cozy, friendly place with heart this place is a great choice.

Very good quiet location with amazing views. Ability to cook own food, wash clothes without extra cost is very helpful. A bit of walking will give you great views of the mountains. During night you can see the whole city.

We had such a lovely stay here! The house is super comfy, clean, and beautifully furnished — the interior feels so luxurious, yet cozy at the same time. The garden is just gorgeous, full of beautiful trees and plants that make you feel so relaxed. It’s also in a great spot, close to cute cafes and lots of interesting places around Almaty. The best part? The owner is so kind, helpful, and friendly — they really made us feel at home. We felt so welcome and cared for during our stay. Very recommended this place and we’ll definitely be back if we visit Almaty again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the hostel "I Love My Home," and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, the welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The owner was incredibly helpful, assisting with translation and interpretation, which made my stay much easier, especially as a traveler in a new city. The Almaty city is located in a vibrant area with plenty of attractions nearby. The owner took the time to provide detailed information about the city, including the best places to visit, local customs, and public transport tips. They even helped me organize my entertainment, from guiding me to popular attractions to suggesting hidden gems that only locals know about.

Really liked the position and the veranda for chilling. The mountain and springs are close to get to on the 112 bus. Our host was great and very welcoming and make you feel at home.
