Waking up is a joy, especially with the awesome hot shower and the promise of a great breakfast – seriously, try the omelette! Plus, the reliable aircon and WiFi are much appreciated. Convenience is key here. The Seagull boasts a handy tour desk and is just a five-minute walk from the vibrant riverfront promenade, where you'll find the lively night and seafood markets, diverse quality restaurants, the serene Lotus Pond, the dazzling Seahorse fountain and light show, and unique floating restaurants. Beyond the hotel, I discovered the incredibly friendly community of Krong Kampot 💙. For anyone visiting Kampot, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. ✨👍😊

Very spacious room, it's nice to have the bed on the mezzanine and a living room with a table and comfortable chairs. We felt right at home with a well-equipped kitchen for cooking. Our hosts are very helpful. Very quiet place, green and well located in town. I highly recommend.

We have spent 11 amazing days at Baksaei and we had a wonderful time! The location is absolutely stunning within a rice field surrounded by beautiful views of mountains, greenery and village-life atmosphere. The bonus is that you are still a short tuk-tuk ride into town, so very convenient too as you can keep the balance of being in the country side but very close to everything that the town has to offer. The house is clean, spacious and very very well equipped. We have been travelling and working remotely for a few years now and I can say that this place is a great combination of comfort, security, amenities and relaxation. This means that you can easily work from the house (great Wi-Fi and comfortable working spaces), relax on the balcony reading, practicing yoga or just watching the view or chill at the pool watching sunset and birds, cook your own meals at fully-fully equipped kitchen or order food from Grab if you feel like it- we even had 2 BBQs during our stay. It is very quiet around and we slept so well during our entire stay- huge surprise was how breezy it was even during May as we could sleep with windows open and no AC was needed even though available! Meghan, the host, is such a kind and open hearted person who is so passionate about her place and full heartedly dedicated to offer the most complete experience and make sure that nothing is missing- she had done such an amazing job making the place truly comfortable and achieving this sense of chill that we are all looking for. It was hard to leave and we could stay much longer but we already had a whole plan in place so would probably be back again. We stayed as a couple and recommend it for any individual, couple or family who are seeking peace, quiet, relaxion and connection to the country side. Thank you Meghan for creating such a great place!
