The view was wonderful, our room was really confortable and big. The city is really a nice place to stop and the hotel is in one of the oldest street of the city. Don’t hesitate to go to the small museums in the street, they are really happy to explain their city to foreigners !

We loved the attention to detail, especially the vintage record player with Japanese vinyls and how well stocked the kitchen was (oil, spices, rice, coffee etc. - the best we had in Japan!). Staff was very accommodating. Very spacious, perfect for our group. We had to change the group size due to a mistake of our own and it was very easy to resolve, thank you for that. We had a great time!

The location is beautiful and quiet, and the hostel is always clean. The owner is really friendly and kind too, I would recommend being able to speak some Japanese so that you can get to know him. My suitcase wheels broke on the way to the hostel so I had to carry my suitcase all the way from the station. When I arrived drenched in sweat he said I should have called him and he would have picked me up; the very next day he drove me to a 2nd hand store to buy a new one.
