Wonderful location, close to the busstop, lake, 7eleven, onsen with view of Mt. Fuji, the flower park. The owners are very helpful and friendly, the toilets and showers were very clean, kitchen was fully equipped and a cozy living area.

First, about the owners: my rental broke down just as I reached the property. They helped me by calling the rental company, then the insurance company, then the tow truck company. I don't speak a word of Japanese and I couldn't get this done without them. That lead me to trying to find a way back. They spent 7 to 8 hours helping me find my route! It's a complicated route that I had (going to kyoto) and they walked me through all of it. They are savvy, know bus routes, and will lend you a hand if need be. Now the property: amazing!! Next to the lake, plenty of parking, clean throughout, cloae to moint fuji. Heated floors were amazing (especially in winte)r. Common areas are functional, and they provide everything you need to make it feel like home. They showed us how to prepare our market bought meals (market is just around the corner). The house is absolutely beautiful. Chances are, you will meet like minded, mature travellers like we did. This was not a frat house. Guests were mature, from all around the world, and I had a great time conversating with the few small groups I came across. The hosts stayed up with us, we all had drinks in the common area, and had good conversation. 10 out of 10, I would recommend it again. I don't usually write lengthy reviews but this review is easily, we'll deserved.

The host was absolutely amazing! He was there to answer my questions, to give me tips and his English was good. The place was kept clean and I especially appreciated the coffee and the tea that was included. The room itself was spacious and I had all the amenities I needed. Also, the location was perfect! It was close to the lake, right next to a convenience store and close to bike rentals and the bus stop that goes around Lake Yamanako and towards Lake Kawaguchi. The area was very peaceful (I was there during May), a perfect place to wind down after experiencing the bustling cities like Tokyo, Kyoto or Osaka.

Simply relaxing to just chill and sit outside the bench, chairs, sipping coffee nice and slow. You'll be able to see Mt Fuji from the entrance if the weather is good. Quite a cozy home stay with everything you need really. The lake is the closest to Mt Fuji and about 12km to 13km loop ; mostly flat to run / cycle around. Go for it to see the magnificent fujisan from the other end. You won't regret it. The bus stop from tokyo / from kawaguchico is within 10 mins walk.

That's a very good hostel! Everything looks very clean. The dormitory was big, the bed was very confortable with curtains for privacy, the shower was great, the wifi work very well, it's 50 meters from the bus stop, 100 meters from the lake, 7 Eleven at 100 meters, kitchen for cooking, free tea and coffee in the morning. The couple who owns this place are amazing, speaks perfectly English and will do everything to help you. Recommend 100%!
