Everything! The most loveliest hosts, felt really like spending the stay in their family. Since vegan dinner options were rare in Iiyama, the host lady prepared a vegan vegetable stew and tofu as a side dish just for me and we had dinner together at their family kitchen table. ♡ Though communicating in English was a bit difficult, the 3 of them made an immense effort to communicate with me via Google translate - loved and enjoyed learning more about Iiyama, their life and Japanese culture so much! Also, met their lovely daughter Natsumi again by accident in Nozawa at Haus St. Anton a few days later which was lovely! :) Thank you for everything!!!

The warmest place we’ve stayed! Staff were really nice and everything was tidy. The room was warmed for us when we arrived and when we returned after skiing it was easy to rewarm the room!

Despite the heavy snowstorm disrupting transportation, they went above and beyond to assist us, ensuring we reached our destination smoothly. Their generosity didn’t stop there—they even brought our skis to the bus station, making our departure hassle-free. The warmth and hospitality we experienced made our trip even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a welcoming and caring place to stay! Also the in-house breakfast and dinner was amazing.
