The place was perfect for our group, we had a lot of space, got to borrow bikes for free, utilised the big kitchen. We loved the atmosphere of the place and all agreed that we would stay here again, it was lovely. The owners were very kind and offered us anything we needed.

Very spacious three-bedroom apartment conveniently located next to Matsuyama city station and a host of shops, cafés, and bars. The tram for the JR station and Dōgo onsen leaves from right outside and there is a friendly izakaya on the ground floor. Despite the central location, we heard no noise. There is art from local artists on the wall and it is clear that some thought has gone into the design of the apartment.

Everything! Stay here if you would like to meet alternative people and an extremely funny owner. We also got to eat incredibly delicious dinners with the hosts and other guests every night for a very cheap price.

Spacious and comfortable, especially for Japanese properties which is hard to find as a family of five. It had all amenities, including a kitchen with cooktops, two toilets, and a washing machine/dryer located in the powder room. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and made sure we had all we needed to enjoy the property and the city. If you would like a comfortable traditional Japanese stay within easy walking distance to shops, transport and attractions, would recommend this property!

We were lucky enough to spent a wonderful time with our host, who speaks english very well. She was very friendly and had enough time for us to show us all the amenities and our wonderful room. Use your time to look at her art and what she sells of it, she is very talented, we've got wonderful pieces that will always remind us of our time there. Room and amenities are great and photos are accurate. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we did.

Excellent location in the Dogo Onsen area, easily reachable by public transport. Easy to wander around the onsen village morning and night. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The dorms and facilities were clean, and I had a very comfortable stay here for 3 nights. There was an air humidifier in the dorm to combat the seasonal dry air. I found it easy to reach other sights by walking as well, such as Matsuyama castle and Ishiteji temple.

The amazing breakfast and the heart warming friendliness of the hosts are the biggest advantages of this place. Strolling through the little harbour town Mitsu is lovely and the train will take you in 15 mins to downtown Matsuyama.
