The hosts took such good care of us and made sure we had a wonderful time here! The futon beds were very comfortable. The piano added an extra touch and my mother and I enjoyed playing it a little.

We spent two nights at the cafe Sharehouse and it was an amazing experience. As for the location it is close to the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest (like 10 mins walk). It has an amazing river close by where you can run and also an onsen which is must go place during your stay at the sharehouse. We had a very warm welcome from the host and a little morning talks which were always refreshing and interesting. There is a bus stop and the metro station in 1-2 mins from the cafe and you can get anywhere in Kyoto by means of them. We went to the cafe sharehouse directly from Tokyo and it was so nice to finally chill in a family environment, away from the chaotic lifestyle. Thank you very much 💕 I hope I will be back pretty soon ☺️

We had a great stay with the homestay, very clean and new facility, friendly and helpful host. the location is great, perfect for exploring Arashiyama early morning to avoid the crowd. We will love to come back and stay if we have a chance.

It's a great locating in a quiet street. The guesthouse itself is so warm and cozy, and the ability to have a private bathroom in a traditionally laid out inn was great.

Clean, warm, cosy room. Kevin, the owner, is absolutely fantastic. He drove us to the rental place to pick up our car. He gave us loads of information for the area and even provided free washing powder for the coin laundry around the corner. He also provides free tea/coffee and water and luggage storage. What more could you want! Extremely good value for money.

Very lovely small family owned Inn with a super nice host family that can speak very good english, nice, clean comfortable rooms, very good breakfast - I am vegerarian, they prepared a different vegetarian breakfast for me every morning, even including fresh fruits (something I completely missed before in Japan), close to the main tourist area with all the famous temples; and on top of that I was brought for free by car to the train station when I checked out. Thanks again!

The room was big and clean. It looked alot better than on the pictures. The staff was really nice. There was space to put the luggage so the room was always tidy. Highly recommend.

Was very spacious for our family of 5. Had everything we needed. Short walk to a Metro station and bus stop - so easy to get around. Nice and clean. Staff were lovely and they were happy to store our luggage on checkout day as we had things booked in before our train out of Kyoto. Would definitely book this again if I travel back to Kyoto.
