The owners were very kind and accomodating and the house was traditional and peaceful. We rented the bikes which was great to ride to the lake with. Only regret was not staying longer as we only stayed one night.

I would like to thank the owners of this beautiful place. The ambiance of the place was delightful. The house is very clean and beautiful. Excellent attitude to the guests, the living conditions are excellent. I would like to recommend this place to all my friends. Breakfast was delicious and made almost at night when we found out we were going to Fuji at 3am. I give this hotel 11 stars out of 10.

Very nice, spacious, quiet, and clean apartment with many good utilities. The whole apartment basically has a nice tatami floor and for sleeping there are futons which are also quite nice. The location is very convenient allowing easy and quick access to surrounding sightseeing and hiking places (i.e., with a car). Supermarkets are within walking distance. Great value for the money. Overall, we had an excellent stay.

The owner is the kindest ever. I met so many amazing other travelers here. It is so close to the beautiful Lake Kawaguchi, many onsen, and other sightseeing locations in the amazing Fuji area. The kitchen is very well-equipped and there is such a nice lounge area - couches and also Japanese-style tatami mats with cushions and table. Free tea and coffee, free washing machine, free bikes to rent! Highly recommend everything about this hostel. The owner went out of his way to help me and the other travelers with anything we needed.

We stayed only 1 night. Room was super comfortable, showers super clean, huge kitchen available. They can store your luggage if you plan to hike Fuji next day or overnight. When we came back from Fuji we were soaking wet and our next acoomondation had checkin at 3pm (it was 9am) They let us take a shower, change to dry clothes and charge our phones, even though it was 24 hours after our check-out. Amazing location close to everything!

It was a beautiful place with the most enthusiastically lovely host! We only got to stay one night but wish we could’ve done more. Taeko was incredibly helpful to us as we stayed the day before climbing Mount Fuji and she made sure we had plenty of water and helped us out with a taxi!!

Old Japanese house in the middle of the countryside, so very quiet and soothing. Hiro was a great host, and the facilities are very comfortable and complete, with kitchen, lobby, bike rental, etc. Well situated and clean.
