The hostel is great, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the location is exptional five minutes walking from the Matsumoto Castle, very easy to walk through the city which is very cute. Thank you.

It was a really nice Japanese style place with the warmest welcome you could imagine! We were picked up and taken to the Bus stop and even got. Support to Book the right bus to get to Kamikochi. The breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed every minute and especially the nice talks with our host- thanks a lot we loved it !!! (:

A beautifully presented Japanese style house in a very convenient spot. We were given a very warm welcome by the owner on arrival and everything we needed to know for our stay was shared. The home was very quiet and well equipped - complimentary tea, coffee and spring water from the Matsumoto well just across the street. We enjoyed the views from the balcony over the river and beyond. It was great to have use of the kitchen and dining/sitting room. If you are reading this then don’t hesitate to book this accommodation.

My wife and I spent 2 nights here as we explored the surrounding mountains - we hiked up to Enzanso hut and Mt. Tsubakuro. The owner was extremely helpful with our planning as she helped us with the rental equipment that we needed for the climb (we could have it delivered to the guest house a few days in advance). She also informed us of the current weather/snow conditions on the mountain...thank you so much again for this, we really appreciated it!! Otherwise the guest house is very nice, clean and brand new. We saw there is a yoga studio in the same facility - but I suppose that is aimed more for local/Japanese visitors - it looked really nice though.
