First of all, a big thanks to Chris, owner of the b&b. The breakfast is fantastic and our room was the perfect stay Option for Garda. The organic bed worked perfectly. No air conditioning but with the big fans it was fine. Breakfast was made from regional products. Chris took care of us Like we we're old friends. We felt very welcome and If we had any Special wishes, she would've found a solution. She also showed us how to produce a piccolo italian Pasta. She can give very good recommendations We will definetly come back next year.

We received coffee, tea, sweet and salty snacks and there is a fridge and a kettle as well. Spacious shower and clean bathroom. A short walk to the lake, wonderful host and very good value for money.

The place is amazing. Awesome views of the lake from the pool area. Lovely spacious rooms. Really nice breakfast which you can enjoy in a little courtyard. They also have an honesty bar where you can get wines, beer, soft drinks ... and small snacks. Claudia is a wonderful host.

What can I say. Superb does not even come close. Anja's communication and assistance to make our stay even more special. The rooms are brand new, comfortable and also look beautiful. The roof terrace was a bonus and we had a lovely Prosecco there - "on the house". The location in town is perfect, central but not noisy. Breakfast was excellent too.

This is an absolutely amazing place to stay. In effect a small family run hotel (12 rooms in total including 4 in an annexe) with lovely and well kept grounds and large swimming pool/jacuzzi area. Being on a hill overlooking the town of Bardolino there is a great view over the town and Lake Garda whilst having breakfast on the terrace. Sara, front of house, is a gem! Whilst out of the town it is not isolated as such. There is a regular shuttle bus (June to October) that has a stop just 100 metres down the road at the entrance to a local school. The journey costs €1.30 pp and takes about 15 minutes to get to Bardolino. As Casaliva is in an effective cul de sac/no through road it is quiet with not much traffic at all. There are 2 good restaurants just 5 mins and 10 mins walk respectively down the same road as Casaliva (our favourite was La Rocca), passing olive trees and vinyards on your left, but Casaliva also has a snacks service throughout the day up to 8 pm doing salads, pizza and a burger for example. They also sell wine and beer all at reasonable prices. Most of the clientele is German due to historic links with the area from the days of the Austrian empire. So, German is pretty much the second language in the area but English is of course widely spoken. The Germans know a good thing when they experience it – we English need to join them at Casaliva. You won’t regret it!

We had a wonderful stay at Saoō. Chris is the most lovely host you can imagine! The apartment has a beautiful & unique interior and was perfectly clean. You can reach the lake in 10 minutes by foot. The breakfast is mostly selfmade, 10/10 would recommend!!

Chris was such a lovely host! We went to Saoō for a weekend and the stay had not could be better. The room was really nice, made with a lot of love and with environment friendly materials - so we slept pretty well! Every morning Chris made breakfast for the guests and to be honest - this was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had in Italy. All in all we can really recommend Saoō for everyone and we will be back for sure!
