the best bed ever, me and my boyfriend we slept like a baby situated very close to the lake 5 min to the beach and right in the middle of Garda, all the restaurants and shops right next to it the highlight of our stay was an amazing breakfast, everything soooo delicious, it took time, so you need to be patient, but it is freshly made so it is definitely worth the waiting, We can highly recommend it and would definitely come back

What a place, the house, rooms, owners, location, all was such a find. We all loved our stay there! The peace for sleeping in beautifully decorated rooms, all the details of the stay, from a free glass of prosecco, or the machine to fill up your bottles with fizzy water. The lovely courtyard with lemon and olive trees. All the area surrounding corte Castello to walk your dog. We also got the music of the owner which was great. We were three generations there and we all loved it!

This is an absolutely amazing place to stay. In effect a small family run hotel (12 rooms in total including 4 in an annexe) with lovely and well kept grounds and large swimming pool/jacuzzi area. Being on a hill overlooking the town of Bardolino there is a great view over the town and Lake Garda whilst having breakfast on the terrace. Sara, front of house, is a gem! Whilst out of the town it is not isolated as such. There is a regular shuttle bus (June to October) that has a stop just 100 metres down the road at the entrance to a local school. The journey costs €1.30 pp and takes about 15 minutes to get to Bardolino. As Casaliva is in an effective cul de sac/no through road it is quiet with not much traffic at all. There are 2 good restaurants just 5 mins and 10 mins walk respectively down the same road as Casaliva (our favourite was La Rocca), passing olive trees and vinyards on your left, but Casaliva also has a snacks service throughout the day up to 8 pm doing salads, pizza and a burger for example. They also sell wine and beer all at reasonable prices. Most of the clientele is German due to historic links with the area from the days of the Austrian empire. So, German is pretty much the second language in the area but English is of course widely spoken. The Germans know a good thing when they experience it – we English need to join them at Casaliva. You won’t regret it!

My stay at Borgo di Lazise was absolutely wonderful. The room was perfect for my needs—modern, well-organized, and thoughtfully designed. Everything felt fresh, clean, and ergonomic, with all the amenities I needed easily accessible. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the ferry jetty and close to public transport, making it easy to explore the area. A wide variety of restaurants to chose from close by. I especially enjoyed the breakfast at La Crema downstairs; it was a lovely way to start each day. One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful view from my window. It overlooked part of the lake, where small boats were gently docked—it looked like something out of a fairy tale. Special thanks to Silvia, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive. From recommending local gems to giving tips on things to do, she truly went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. I look forward to going back again.
