What an absolute gem of a place! Extremely friendly and welcoming hosts, very modern and light decor, very clean and comfortable. There even was off-road private parking for the bikes! The supermarket up the road came in handy for re-stocking provisions, and the 3 restaurants within easy walking distance were also much appreciated.

The host (Massimo) was a very sweet man who was very nice and inclusive. He did groceries every day, which we could use in exchange for some money. He even cooked for us twice, which was not only delicious but also fun as we got to know him and then found out he also played music. During those evenings, we played music together and drank wine. All and all, a perfect Italian night in the beautiful mountains of Cicogna.
